Doctor Who

Ah... The beloved tv series Doctor Who. For those who don't know what Doctor Who is, you're missing out. It's been on for fifty years and they started it up again in 2005. It's about a man called Doctor, who is an alien, a Time Lord, from the planet Gallifrey. He travels through time and space in a blue box called the Tardis. It stands for Time And Relevant Dimensions In Space. He has different companions through his life. And if you're wondering, no he's immortal. Sort of. He regenerates. You see, if the Doctor gets injured badly or is about to die, he regenerates, becoming a new man with new personalities and looks. Doctor Who is a british tv series, so you might hear a few words you haven't heard before (unless you're british) like torch instead of flashlight, lift instead of elevator and so on. They have the entire series (including the originals, but you don't have to watch them if you don't want to) on Netflix. The Doctor and his companions travel to distant lands and times meeting new (and some famous) faces and species. Each time the Doctor regenerates, we don't call him by his actor name, we call him by how many times he has regenerated. For example, in the original series Tom Baker plays the 4th Doctor because he (the Doctor) has regenerated four times. The Doctor also has catch phrases like "Fantastic!" —Ninth Doctor "Jelly Baby?" —Fourth Doctor and so on. And Doctor Who fans are called Whovians. And you do not— absolutely do not abbreviate Doctor Who to 'Dr Who'. You can buy Doctor Who merchandise online, basically if you type in Doctor Who and click 'shopping' you'll get a bazillion things. I absolutely recommend Doctor Who to EVERYONE I give it a million stars.

Hey there, sorry I haven't written in a while, though I doubt anyone is reading this. I've been busy doing work and writing in my book. (Adventure of the Homeschoolers) I hope one day I could publish it before I turn twenty, but I probably will. But I've changed the title, my mom says it sounds like a screenplay. It's about five kids that save the President from being assassinated. So far I'm at 114 pages and about forty thousand, seven hundred words; it's going to be awesome. I've changed some names and added some more characters, adventure, drama; and I think I basically changed the entire plot line than I originally had two years ago. I'm also writing a short story sequel for it. Some dreams for my book series is that it could become a #1 bestseller, then it to turn into a comic book, then possibly (but I find this next one skeptic) becoming a tv show or movie. The beginning of the book is sort of like my original draft but I might change it. What else... We plan on moving back to NY by maybe June. And I guess that's about it that I could think of right now. Bye.

I stood up all night with my mom!! I went to sleep at 5:30 a.m. this day. K and I received binoculars for Christmas and they really help see the sky so much better. We were able to see Jupiter and 3 moons, and I know another planet we spotted was Saturn, even though it was too far to really see the rings. These are big binoculars, but I think if we bought the next size we'd really get an awesome view. So i took this picture with my camera against the binocular eye piece. It's blurry because the camera wasn't on a tripod like the binoculars were. We might get this cool camera that can zoom in to the moon clearly. But this is not a bad shot with just a point and shoot and binoculars!!! I am pretty happy with it!

Adventure of The Homeschoolers 2, The Deadly Escape 1/2

The six kids (detectives) woke up with a start "Who are you, and what are doing in the school!?!" shouted an old man, his loud booming voice echoed along the wide corridors, the man was probably in his mid 50s with gray and black hair and a silver gotee. "Who are you?!" asked the old man, he was holding a mop and bucket, he wore a gray jumpsuit and a tag that said 'Alex'. As the kids got up they introduced them selfs. "And" said Alex "What are you kids doing here!", "We needed a place to sleep" replied Fire "And why not at home?" asked Alex "Because we're not from Carmelo" said Fire "Then why didn't you kids sleep at the hotel?", Ferno turned around to the others, winked and whispered to his friends "Watch this" and turned to Alex and said "We couldn't sleep there because they had bed bugs" Rose, Sea and Fire giggled. And Alex said "And shouldn't you kids be-" "We were just leaving" interrupted Ocean. As the kids walked to the hole in the borded window, which Fire made the previous day with a crobar, Alex muttered to himself "Some strange kids". As the kids walked on, trying to find the library, they passed a barber shop and the six kids decided to go inside and ask the barber where the library is,as they opened the door a little bell rang above them and as they all came in the barber asked "What may I help you kids with?" "Do you know where the library is?" Rose replied. As the kids waited for the barber to finish cutting a womans red hair and giving her bangs, the six of them decided to sit on the chairs on the other side of the barber shop, as Ocean and Sea were sitting down in between them was a stack of hair magizines, and they both reached for the same magizine Sea's and Ocean's hands bumped, and Sea turned away to look at another magizine. Once the barber was finished, the kids put down the magizines they were looking at and stood by the door as they were waiting for the barber to finish sweeping up the black,brown and red hair. When the barber was finished he walked over to them and said "To get to the library turn left and walk two blocks until you get to Maple ST turn right go straight and there should be a supermarket and keep going straight for five blocks and theres the library" said the barber "Thanks!" said the kids,while walking out the door "And call me Chris!" called out the barber. So they soon got to the old library, a BIG library with two floors and all types of books from fairy tales to The Civil War to fantisy, and there wasn't that many people there just a few people looking at books and checking them out.The six kids went to the desk where a woman sat there, she had blond hair styled into a beehive so that it was stacked on her head, and as she sat there she was looking at a Sophisticate's HAIR STYLE GUIDE and chewing gum when the kids walked up the woman said "I'm Delila, how can I help you" Delila said in a yawn, "Can you show us where the fiction is?" Hunter asked "Come with me" Delila said in a not-to-happy-voice she took them up the stairs and turned right and along the wall were two bookshelves labed FICTION."Boy, you have been here for hours what do you want?" Delila asked a boy, he looked about 12 with black hair, a green hoodie and light brown pants "I have a name you know and it's not Boy" said the boy "Then what is it?" said Delila "Why would I tell you?" Delila sighed and walked back down stairs the boy turned and looked at Ocean and said "I'm Adam, that girl Delila, shes a pain in the neck sometimes I just feel like throwing a boulder at her sometimes" Adam said "What's your names?" "I'm Ocean"  "I'm Rose"  "I'm Ferno"  "I'm Sea"  "I'm Fire" "And I'm Hunter" said Hunter. And then Adam gave a them a big smile and said "Do you know Edward Cobblestone?" the others nodded "Thats great!" shouted Adam from other people said "SHHHHHHHH" Adam continoued "Edward Cobblestone told me to find you guys"  "Why?" asked Ferno "Because" lowering his voice "You all have POWERS"  "Your lying" said Hunter "No, I swear you all have powers"  "Whats MINE?" they all asked eagerly. Adam replied "One at a time, I don't know what your powers are but let me take you back to the headquaters, no questions please it will make us suspious to regular people" as Adam led them down the stairs, he glanced over to Delila, and Delila looked back and stook he tounge out at him and Adam did the same, making an L with his hands and putting it to his forehead as the headed towards the door. They walked a boarded up, small apartment, Fire looked for an entrance, but the door was boarded up as well as the windows "Theres no way in" said Fire "Ahh" said Adam "thats the trick"  they walked to the next apartment, went to the side of it, since there was a big open space where a house used to be, and went to the basement window, big enogh to fit a motorcycle in, "Tada" Adam said smilling at Sea, Ocean rolling his eyes. So as they all climbed into the basment, Adam went to the wall and knocked on it six times then an unseen door slid to the left and Adam announced "Welcome to 'Unique H.Q'".     PART 2       "Thats it?" Rose said in confusion, as all of the kids looked down a long, narrow corridor, doors on the leftt and right. "Those are the bedrooms, you'll find a door that says your name on it" said Adam, "But where's the rest of it?" asked Sea "My little sister will show you that tomorro, but let me introduce you to her" Adam walked two doors down on the right side and knocked on it, the door opened to a little girl about six, with glasses, jet black hair and brown eyes. "Hi!" the little girl said "I'm Shona I can talk to cats and turn into one watch!" as she bent over, she started to change color from her usual light color skin, to a dark brown, and her hands morphed into paws, her glasses fell down to her neck and turned into a collar, her pink dress she wore colored the collar pink, her purple shoes morphed into back paws and her jet black hair grew,and grew, and grew until it covered her whole body until she looked like a black cat. And then the cat MRRROOOEEW-ed, the six of them stood wide-eyes staring at the-once-little-girl that just turned into a cat. Then the cat sat on her hind legs, putting her front paws to the side, she started to change back into a humanher long fur shortend to shoulder hieght, her collar turned back into her glasses, her pink dress reapeard and so did her shoes, until she was standing upright she said "Wasn't that cool! What's your powers?" asked Shona "We're not sure yet, but we're waiting 'til tomorro" replied Fire, "We're going to give you a test in the morning to see what your powers are" Adam told the others. Once the kids said good night they all went to thier rooms; Roses's room walls were painted in a beautiful garden with dozens and dozens of roses, and her bed was made from cotton and her pillow was stuffed with flower petals and her dresser looked like it was a garden, and her pink pagamas had been set for her on her bed. Hunter's room was painted with all diffrent kinds animals, from a rhino to a manitee to a bald eagle and everything in between, his dresser resembled a large rock, and his animal pagamas on his bed as well. Fire's and Ferno's room had flames on everything, her sheets her dresser and pagamas. Sea's room was painted like an ocean, her dresser was a nice shade of turquiose, and so was her pagamas her bed was a water bed with a blue pillow and sheets to match. Ocean's room was painted to be above the clouds, most of his dresser, pillow, bed, sheets and pagamas were white with some light blue in it.Once they all woke up from the most deepest relaxing sleep they ever had, to find that hanging on the outside of thier dressers chlothes they wore the previous day, but much cleaner and they had breakfest on their night stands; eggs, bacon, and a glass of water. After they got dressed the six kids met in the hallway, they were talking about the test and what powers they might have when Adam and Shona came out of thier rooms "Are you ready?"Shona asked excidedly, they all nodded, to excited to say anything so they followed in followed in rows of two, girls behind Shona and boys behind Adam, once they got to the door on the end of the corridor and when Adam opened the door it was a swirly stair-well "Watch you're step" Shona said as they decended down, after about 10 minutes there was a door in front of them and on the floor beside the door was a rock about the size of a Lego Hero head, then the little rock started to float to Adam's hand and Furno exlaimed "Your a Earth-bender!" "Correct" replied Adam cheerfully " If you guys ever want to come down here, you have to bring me. Unless one of you guys are an Earth-bender". Adam showed them the stone, to show that there was nothing wrong with it, and they all felt it, to make sure it not a clay-substaince then adam put the stone in his right palm, closed it, then opened his hand to reviel that the stone had turned into a key "Nice trick Adam" said his little sister. Once Adam opened the door they all got a peek inside before going in. "Mesh into one line, so it will be easyer." Shona said, "Here's what you have to do, once I go inside Shona will send you in one by one, once you get out here move to the side so the next person would go in and take their Test" explained Adam. First was Rose then Hunter, Ocean, Sea, Furno and Fire.When Rose walked into the dimly lit room she noticed that her was a table and chair, on the table was a tipped over lion, a rock, a spill of water, a dead rose in a vase, a white feather, and a candle. As Rose sat down, Adam came in and closed the door. When he sat on the chair on the other side of the table he pushed the tipped over toy lion toward her, nothing happend. Adam then removed everything, except cleaning up the water, he waited a few seconds and nothing happend. Next he put the dead rose in vase in front of her and.... the rose came back to life in full color! Rose looked at the once-dead-plant. Adam wrote on a piece of paper and reached over the table- with out burning himself- to pass it to Rose; the note said 'You can control rose plants' She smiled at Adam, and got up to leave so Hunter can come in. As Rose walked out of the room, Shona pointed to her left, a stair case continuing to desend that they hadn't noticed before. "Wait for us down there for us" Shona said as Rose went down the stairs.When Hunter settled down, Adam put the white feather in front of Hunter, nothing happend, Adam put the tipped over toy lion in front of Hunter, very slowly, the toy lion started to sit up. When Adam saw this he wrote on a piece of paper ' You can talk to animals' Hunter did a fist pump and said "Yes!" and walked out of the room to join Rose. Next Ocean walked in and sat down as Adam put dead rose in front of him, and nothing happend. He put the toy lion in the spot where the dead rose was, nothing. Then Adam everything off the table, leaving the pool of water....Nada, he put everything on the table, pushing the rock towards him...zilch, then he carefully put the candle in front of Ocean...zip. "Hmm, thats odd" said Adam "What?" asked Ocean "It's just that.. we haven't had a flier in half a centery" replied Adam "Well, lets find out" said Ocean. Adam put the white feather in front of Ocean and... and... the feather started to float! Their eyes widened in astonishment, and then it started to fall down slowly, and it landed on the the tip of the quill. Then Adam got up and gave him a fist pound and said "Your powers are rare you know" Ocean nodded as if he knew what Adam was talking about, and then he gave a note and it said 'Your a flier'. And with that, he went to join Hunter and Rose. Once Ocean went down stairs to join Rose and Hunter, Sea went to take her test. 

  Part 3  
 When Sea sat down he pushed the rock towards her, and nothing happend "Shoot" Adam said under his breath and took back the rock and brought up the toy lion, nothing happend and then Adam took everything off of the table, leaving the water, then the water formed into a circle, and in the center of it the water started to climb up, and up, and up until it was a floating glob of water and Adam said "Nobody had that power for over a Millenia" when Adam said that, the water-glob fell with a SPLASH! wetting them both. Then Adam handed her a piece of paper, and it said 'You are a Water-bender' Sea looked at Adam, smiled and left the room to hang with Ocean, Hunter and Rose. Adam opend the door and said to Ferno and Fire "You both can come in, I think it'll be easy" so Fire and Ferno went inside while Adam made the-most-comfortable-chair-you-can-with-a-rock when Ferno decided to sit in it. "Fire, your names just practicly say your power. Guess" said Adam after Ferno had settled down. "Fire" Fire said, "Well, not excatly you have the power of lava " Adam said."Now Ferno, your name will trick anyone, you can Earth-bend" as he gave Fire a card saying, 'You can control lava' and for Ferno 'You can Earth-bend' "I'll meet you down stairs where you can start your training," Adam said as Fire and Ferno were leaving. Adam got up, took the rock, closed the door and locked it with his rock-key, and headed down stairs. When he went down the stairs the others, except Shona, were in a circle room, sitting in wooden school desks, with a white board and 5 adults, 2 women, 3 men. "Well, lets get started."

One day six kids (also detectives) were walking in the woods three girls, Sea 12,Rose 14, and Fire 11,and three boys Ferno 9, Hunter 9, and Ocean 13. And as they were walking, they came upon a stream and it was a perfect spot to hang out, "Hey, how about we make a big club house. See the logs are almost in a circle, so those can be the benches" said Ferno "YEAH!" they said in unison, so then they got to work. Once they were finished making the clubhouse they went home so they can go play at the clubhouse first thing in the morning. The next day when they biked to the clubhouse, there was a letter on the door, the letter said 'Hello kids, I moved to the town Carmelo to teach art, and there has been strange things going on around here, come as soon as possible. Signed Your Art Teacher, Edward Cobblestone' " I wonder whats going on in Carmelo" asked Sea, "Well whatever it is, it sounds urgent" said Hunter. They jumped back on their bikes and biked for home to get things they might need for this adventure. All the schools in Carmelo were all closed, but it was the middle of the school year, everything was gloomy and dreary looking, even the babies in Carmelo had a pout on their face " Wow, its really gloomy here" said Fire, and there was only one hotel there, "We should try in there, where else would he be" added Fire, so they walked in the hotel and were greeted by a coworker the man asked "May I help you?" "Yes we are looking for Edward Cobblestone, is he here?" asked Ocean "Yes he is in room 863 on the second floor, and go to the right "Thank You" they said in unison so they took the elevator, as they piled in Sea and Ocean bumped into each other "Oops, sorry Ocean" apologized Sea, "its OK" answered Ocean, blushing Sea turned away, and started talking to Ferno (her brother) about the town, then the elevator stopped abruptly and the elevator light turned of and it was pitch black, then someone said "Wait! I have my flashlight in my book bag,where is it, where aha here we go!" then Hunter turned on his flashlight and aimed it at the elevator buttons "Here's the emergency button!" Ferno tried the button twice but nothing happened then suddenly Fire bumped into Hunter and the flashlight flew out of his hands and hit the floor with a THUMP! and it was pitch black again and Fire felt the floor for the flashlight, once she got a hold of it she hit it against her hand and the light got into her eyes but she had good grip on it, and as the light pointed to the ceiling of the elevator Ocean had an idea as Fire aimed the light down "We have a way out! Fire point the flashlight up to the ceiling again" Fire pointed the light at the ceiling "See" said Ocean "There's a crack there in the hoistway so we just need someone to open it" then every one looked at Rose "No way! Not me!" then Sea said "Come on your our only hope and you need to get out of here to" "Fine" answered Rose. As she put one foot on the railing, and then the other and as she reached the hoistway she gave it a push and it opened "Yes!" exclaimed Fire "But wait" said Ferno " WE still can't reach it, only Rose can". There was silence for a minute then suddenly "I have rope! Rose can climb up and tie it to something and Hunter can make knots so it will be easier to climb" shouted Ocean, so Ocean passed the rope up to Rose and she tied it to something. And so they climbed out of the elevator and did the same thing to the walls to get out of the shaft. "Did he say Room 863 or 836?" asked Rose "I think he said 863" answered Hunter, so they walked to Room 863, and once they got there Sea knocked on the door... no one came, and she tried again but this time the door opened, so they walked in."Edward Cobblestone are you here?" said Fire,but no one replied they checked the living room, dining area, bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and the closets until they went to his office and there was a note and it said 'Hello sorry I couldn't be here I was going out for a walk but for now on I will leave you kids notes wherever I can.' "Hey Fred did you leave the door open?" *GASP* "No I didn't Ben, should we go inside?" "yes because a murderer might be in there" then Sea said "In the other note he said that he would meet us here" "We'll talk about this later everybody HIDE!" whispered Ferno Rose hid behind the desk, Ocean ran under the bed, Sea went to the closet, Ferno jumped behind the couch and Hunter went under the table. "Lock the door Fred so the intruder doesn't escape" in the kids minds they were thinking SHOOT! WE'LL NEVER GET OUT OF HERE NOW so the workers checked every room and then they checked in the closet "HEY!" shouted Fred "RUN!" said Sea all the kids bolted from their hiding spots into the living room then Ben and Fred Blocked them from escaping "Your stuck here, we are going to call the police" said Ben, then Fred opened his phone to Dial 911, then Fire turned around and she mouthed to her friends 'JUMP' since it was a glass window and Rose mouthed 'ARE YOU CRAZY?' Fire shook her head, she put her hand in Rose's hand and the rest did the same thing and Ocean counted "1, 2, 3 JUMP!" they ran as fast as they could and jumped through the glass, shattering it, and landed safely on a canopy above a fruit stand. And they read the rest of the note 'I will leave you kids notes whenever I can. You will be able to find your special technique in the library under Fiction. Signed Edward Cobblestone' "What does he mean about 'special technique'?" asked Hunter "I don't know but we will when we go to the library, but for now lets find a place to sleep, how about the school. We could break in and sleep in there" said Ocean " OK" answered Sea "Fine by me" said Fire "Sure" said Hunter, Ferno and Rose in unison. The End (Wait for the Sequel)

Funny Street Names and One Awesome Story

Hi everybody! Sorry that I haven't blogged in a few months. And this is my first blog since we moved to FL. Sooo our topic on this blog is.....(drum roll please)..... FUNNY STREET NAMES!! And there's a BUNCH of them some are funny, reasonable and familiar (just to let you know.) Kai Dr, RobinHood st, Pineapple ave, and Myrtle st (for those of you that remember, I used to live on the corner of Myrtle ave.)
I also want to share a story I wrote:
The Bunny and The Gardners

Once Upon a Time there was a cute Cotton Tail Bunny named Cotten. He loved to play voilin, play with the fairies, and he absolutely LOVED to take carrots from gardeners. One day after the fairies had to go home, Cotten was really hungry from all that playing so he decided to go get some food for his family, he had two brothers, Beast and Hardman, and two sisters Mel, and Firetail. "I want pizza!" shouted Beast, "I'm in the mood for a taco," said Mel "You know I like KFC," answered Firetail "I'm hungry for steak," piped Hardman. Cotten didn't know what to get, then out from the living room came Mother Bunny (Maria) "Don't worry Cotty you can get carrot steak, carrot KFC, carrot pizza, and carrot taco" You coulden't imagine the looks on their faces, Beast looked like he was going to start karate-chopping all of the chairs, Mel looked like she was turning red from the feet up, tears were going to well up in Firetail's eyes any second, and Hardman looked like he was going to turn the rabbit home upside down. "Or Cotty can get some plain carrots" and at the moment when Mommy Bunny said "plain" all of them calmed down. So Cotten went to there Human neighbors, they had two kids one boy, one girl, and one parent, the boy and girl went to check on there carrots, then the girl said "They don't look ready, lets wait until tomorrow they might be ready then" then the little boy said " Ok, but not TOO long or the bunnies might eat them all!" so then the kids went inside to get ready for bed. Then around dusk Cotten came to get some carrots, he took five for Hardman, three for Mel, seven for Beast, and four for Firetail. Then the next morning after the kids did school work they went outside to get the carrots and the boy noticed somthing "Hey come look! more than half the carrots are gone!" then the girl said "Either we have some carrot robbers or we have bunnies running around" and the kids never found out if they indeed have carrot robbers or some bunnies hopping in their graden.

Tae Kwon Do: Part 1

Hi everybody,my mom recently registered me in a Tae Kwon Do class around the corner, if your wondering what 'Part 1' means it means that I will blog about it again. Tae means 'to strike or break with foot' kwon means 'to strike or break with fist' do means 'way', 'method' or 'art' put it all together and it means 'the art of foot and fist' or 'the art of kicking and punching'. Tae kwon do teaches you about self defense and more.

World Records

Hi.

Today I was thinking about setting my own World Record, bouncing a ball (not a hand ball) on my hands for more than 100 bounces. So far my record is 48 bounces, I checked on the Guinness World Record website (if you want to visit the website here is the link http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/) and there is none for bouncing ball on your hand. On Friday the 4th my mom got me the Nook Color. It is definitely worth the money. You can do a lot of stuff with it you can surf the web, read, add apps, shop, change your wallpaper, do chess and more, and if you do buy the Nook Color, girls there is good book you can download for free it's called 'Girls to the Rescue' and boys if you like Percy Jackson and the Lighting Thief, then there is a book for you it's called 'The lost Hero (Hero's of Olympus') but I recommend downloading books instead of buying. You can buy stuff but you need the Nook Ebooks Gift Card, it gives you 25 dollars so you can buy things on your Nook. You can easily find the Nook Color and the Gift Card at a local Staples.

Advice

Hi I need some advice, my mom doesn't trust me to go outside to the park,store etc by myself. How can I get my mom to trust me? Maybe if we move to our own purlieu she'll trust me enough to let me be free and roam. I know my mom doesn't want me to get hurt out there but I'm going to be 11 in a couple of months and she needs to trust me and let me roam out of the nest.
Any advice would be helpful!!!

UFO's

Last night Kai said he saw a U.F.O tilting,then 4 seconds later it zoomed off at hyper speed like in Star Trek. Then Kai fell asleep, when he woke up he looked out my window and the U.F.O was there again. This time it was spinning so fast the lights became a blur. Kai then saw something in the distance, he spotted another U.F.O silently gliding under the other spinning U.F.O it was coming towards him. The top U.F.O stopped spinning as soon as the other U.F.O went under it.Then the top U.F.O POPPED invisible blending in with the night sky and the other U.F.O slowly flew to Kai's left then POPPED invisible just like the other one.

Mermaid/man spells

Go to somewhere with a water [you can be in a full body or your hand can be in a cup of water,your choice]and it has to be a full moon.

Go in the water and say “Kalifee”.You can choose your power [Freezing,morphing water,boiling,or all 3]but if you try it with multiple people,just say it in a row.The first who says it get’s the power to freeze water,the second morphing,the third boiling,and the fourth all three.In one day you will become a mermaid,or man.You’ll be like the mermaids off of H2O Just Add Water,with the orange-brown tails.And you’ll only be a mermaid/man if after 16 seconds you touch water.You can use your power whenever you want,even the weather powers!If you got Freezing you get snow,if you got morphing you got wind,and if you got boiling you got lightning and fire. I didn't try it yet but MOST IMPORTANTLY DO IT ON A FULL MOON
